Art 2 Heart is accepting volunteer applications from anyone interested in being involved in shaping the lives of our local youth in the areas of the arts. Our programs are designed to help youth develop the skills and character traits necessary to become responsible, productive citizens.
Our programs are designed to be fun and exciting and packed with activities associated with arts.
Leadership skills are one of our main areas of emphasis.

The purpose of this program is “two fold”......to teach young people a sense of responsibility to themselves and to their community and to help prepare young people to take ownership in preparing for their future. Mentoring Project 20/20 is a peer leadership program with a different slant.
Ten alumni Art2Heart students who are now attending colleges and universities will be trained by community leaders to utilize and transfer their stories challenges into life skills principles and pass those principles along to 10 young people who are still in public school. By creating a partnership between the community leader, the participant and the Alumni the mentoring process takes on a two fold outcome.
The goal is to promote personal responsibility,
self confidence and to develop a
framework and capacity to make positive life choices, to reinforce the connection between personal educational success and community and to help students to value a more purpose driven life and service to others.
